Dr. Susan and the rest of the team at our practice work hard to ensure that you receive quality treatment in a friendly, warm and relaxing environment. We believe that having an excellent dental practice begins with open patient communication. We encourage our patients to ask any questions that may arise during treatment, as well as discuss any concerns that they have at their appointments. Our team members are happy to assist you in any way possible, and will do their best to make each appointment even better than the last. Learn more about our dynamic team below and feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.
Jean has been working with Susan since 1995 as a certified and registered dental assistant and now as the Health Relationship Coordinator (HRC). Her position as HRC is a wonderful and exciting role as a partner and health advocate. Jean facilitates the new patient appointment, communicates on your behalf with your medical team, helps you understand financial options for the treatment you desire, and coordinates follow-up treatment visits in- and outside our office. Her personal mission is to partner with you to achieve your best possible health.
Away from the office, you will find Jean and her husband Jim enjoying the roles of mom and dad to children Landon and Amelia, and hanging with family and friends when she can. She is trying her hand at gardening – both flowers and vegetables, and she enjoys cooking, crafts, exercising, and a good beer or going wine tasting. She loves to travel and her favorite places to frequent are the family getaways on Fife Lake and Higgins Lake.
Since November 1st, 1997, Kelly has been a dental assistant and has spent nearly 2 decades with Susan. Kelly loves doing her best work. She often says, “I always think of what I would want in my mouth and strive to do just that for every patient.” Helping people through their anxiety and being part of the beautiful, perfect, finished project is what Kelly loves most about her position.
Kelly loves to work with Dr. Susan and the team. “I like that each of us can be ourselves. We all share in the management and responsibility so we also celebrate successes together.”
Her life beyond the office is enjoying her and 10 year old son, weight lifting, and walking/running with her golden retriever.
Georgette has been a hygienist since 1993 and has been with Susan since 1994. Georgette says, "It is truly an honor and a privilege that I am extremely grateful for. I am proud to be a part of such an elite team of professionals that expedites the growth and potential of each individual patient into life changing behaviors. The outcomes are amazing!"
Georgette has such a passion for the individual connections and friendships she has with each of her patients. She says, "My profession has enabled me with the unique opportunity to build long term relationships with people by seeing them multiple times each year. I look forward to picking up where we last left off and moving mountains with them!"
Away from work, Georgette's other full time job is actively raising her two fabulous children with her husband. She enjoys gardening, decorating, volunteer work, cruising with her husband in their '56 t-bird, and oh yes....shoes!
Molly is our Marketing and Financial Coordinator. She is a graduate of Michigan State University, and received her bachelor’s degree from The School of Hospitality Business. She also has her MBA from Northwood University’s prestigious DeVos School of Business Management.
Molly has been one of Susan’s patients since she was 4 years old and joined our team in 2013. “I love being able to leverage my previous business experience for the benefit of the practice, and working with such awesome women. We are SO much more than just teeth!”
Molly loves spending time with her husband, Steve, and their two daughters. She also enjoys cooking, theatre, and traveling.
Elizabeth has been a massage therapist since 2008 and joined our team of professional and fun-loving ladies in 2013. The best part of her position is to be the bright spot in our patient’s busy and stressful day. She recognizes that many people experience dental anxiety and stress. Through relaxation services, such as hand/foot massage, heat, vibration and aroma-therapy she can melt the stress away. Elizabeth loves to help people relax!
Away from work, Elizabeth most enjoys being at home with her husband and adorable springer spaniel, Lucy. She likes to read, garden, practice yoga and spend time with her family.
Sara's love for the dental field began in 2009. While preparing to attend the dental hygiene program at Lansing Community College,
she was trained by a local oral surgeon as a dental assistant. Upon completion of the program in 2012, she began her career as a dental hygienist. Sara has an ever growing love for learning, developing a trusting relationship with her patients, and tailoring each appointment to their individual needs. Sara says, "I am elated to grow and learn with such a strong team of women! The opportunities to help people achieve optimal health are endless here, and the Hands-On Learning Lab™ is an incredible gift to our patients!"
Meghan brings over 15 years of dental experience to our practice. She began her career as a dental assistant but jumped at the opportunity around 11 years ago, to expand her dental knowledge by learning the insurance side of the dental world.
"I am so excited to be a part of an 'out of network' office where our patient care is not restricted by insurance companies. I love being an advocate for our patients to make sure they are getting their maximum amount of dental coverage for the care they NEED, not just what is allowed."
Meghan enjoys interacting with people every day and building relationships with both patients and her co-workers. She can be found at the front desk laughing, with a smile on her face probably planning "spirit week" or another fun activity for the team to take part in. When she is not in the office, Meghan can be found on the sidelines of a sports game, either cheering or coaching, for one of her 3 kids. She enjoys reading, shopping, wine and going to concerts.
